1. Who we are

2. The service
The site offers free tools (file converters, lookups, generators and calculators) and guides about SoundCloud, Spotify and audio formats. Most tools run entirely in your browser. We may add, change or remove tools at any time without notice.
SC Utility Hub is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SoundCloud Global Limited, Spotify AB or any other company named on the site. All product names, logos and brands belong to their owners.
3. Using the tools legally
You are responsible for the files you convert and the content you use. You agree that you will only use the tools with:
- audio, video and images you created or own
- files the rights holder lets you download, such as a track with SoundCloud downloads enabled
- Creative Commons or public domain works, following their license terms
- content you otherwise have permission to use
Don't use the site to infringe copyright, get around technical protection measures, break SoundCloud's or Spotify's terms of service, or redistribute or sell other people's music. Downloading or converting a track does not give you any rights to it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- overload, scrape or attack the site, or try to access parts of it you aren't meant to
- use bots or automated scripts against the tools
- use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful
- copy or republish our guides or code as your own without permission
5. Our content
The text, design and code of the site belong to SC Utility Hub unless stated otherwise. You may share links to any page and quote short parts with credit and a link back. Tool output you create from your own files is yours.
6. Third-party services and links
Some tools request public data from SoundCloud or Spotify, and guides link to other websites. We don't control those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. A link is not an endorsement.
7. No warranty
The site and tools are provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge. We don't promise that they will be accurate, error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. Calculators such as royalty estimates are rough guides only, not financial advice. Keep a backup of any file before converting it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, SC Utility Hub is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, files, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the site or tools. Our total liability for any claim is limited to CAD $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Indemnity
If you use the site in breach of these terms or the law, including by infringing someone else's copyright, you agree to cover any claims, losses and costs that result for us.
10. Copyright complaints
We respond to valid copyright notices. See our Copyright & DMCA policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of that province, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it locally.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it.
