We don't host music
SC Utility Hub does not store, host or stream audio from SoundCloud, Spotify or anywhere else. Our converters process files that visitors already have, on the visitor's own device, and our lookups only show public information (titles, artist names and artwork) returned by SoundCloud's public oEmbed service with a link back to the original.
That means the content you are most likely concerned about lives on SoundCloud or another platform. To remove a track that infringes your rights from SoundCloud itself, use SoundCloud's copyright reporting process.
If something on our pages infringes your copyright (for example artwork, text or a screenshot), send us a notice as described below.
How to send a takedown notice
Email contact@scutilityhub.com with the subject line "DMCA notice". To be valid under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)), your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine)
- a description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed
- the exact URL(s) on scutilityhub.com where the material appears
- your name, postal address, phone number and email address
- a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them
We will review complete notices and, where they are valid, remove or disable the material, usually within 5 business days. Incomplete notices may delay things, so please include everything above.
Counter-notices
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your signature, the material removed and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court. We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after forwarding your counter-notice unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
Canadian notices
We are based in Canada. Notices sent under Canada's notice and notice regime are also accepted at the same address.
Misuse
Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can make the sender liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you aren't sure whether something infringes your rights, consider getting legal advice first.
Repeat infringers
We don't have user accounts, but we will block access for anyone who repeatedly uses the site to infringe copyright.
